“I’m thrilled with the short films Moving Life made—their ease and warmth helped me relax in front of the camera and speak from my heart. Their professionalism made the final product beautiful and accessible.”
—Lane Arye, PhD
Our films can be intimate and poetic time-based portraits of an individual, family, organization, or group of people—a woven tapestry revealing the felt character of a subject, community or place. We also do large-scale organizational productions.
We seek to illuminate the underlying emotional and sensory threads of our subjects, or capture the ethos of an event or gathering—while using all the cinematic and time-based tools available. We are flexible in our production approach and style, always tailoring our working process to meet the needs of the client.
What kinds of projects do you create?
Memorial/personal/family portraits or special occasion shorts including weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, musical/theatrical/dance/performances documentation or creative videos, corporate/organizational promo shorts, crowdsource funding trailers, author/ book profiles, artist portraits and other short promo and cinematic works.
How long does the process generally take?
This can range depending on the length of the project. We are conscientious in meeting budgets and deadlines and will work with you to create a realistic timeline for delivery that meets your needs.
Do you offer production services such as editing, cinematography, directing and producing?
Yes. In addition to our primary service of producing original projects from start to finish, we also can provide a specific service – including all pre, production and post services.
What are your rates?
We work closely with you to determine the scope of the project and the budget for its completion. We offer individual, organizational and corporate rates.
